Some of my favorite Detroit family spots are Belle Isle Park, The Detroit Riverwalk and Eastern Market's colorful sheds — places with room for kids to roam so the photos feel like a real afternoon out. If your family has a meaningful spot in Detroit, we can absolutely shoot there too.
What should we wear for a family session in Detroit?+
I send every family a styling guide, but the short version: coordinate rather than match, pick two or three complementary colors, and dress for the season. Comfortable kids make for the happiest photos.
