Quintanya's Baby Shower — The Cutest Winnie The Pooh Theme

A fall baby shower with the sweetest theme — thoughtful details, fun games, itty-bitty baby clothes, and a mini maternity session in all that natural light.

A few years after photographing their wedding, Scott and Quintanya invited me back to document another very exciting season of their life — their baby shower! It was a beautiful fall day, hosted by Quintanya's mother-in-law, and honestly? It was the cutest Pooh Bear theme there ever was.

The cutest theme

The house was decorated beautifully from top to bottom, and the food and drinks had so much thought and care poured into them — right down to the little handwritten labels with golden bee holders, Winnie the pooh characters hidden throughout the house, to all the homemade drinks, sushi, soups, and desserts! Those are the details I love finding with my camera, because they're the parts people stayed up late making.

Games and good conversation

Fun games were played, and in between them there were the kind of intimate, unhurried conversations that make a shower feel less like an event and more like a room full of people who love you.

Opening the itty-bitty things

One of my favorite parts of any baby shower is watching the new parents open gifts — seeing their expressions as they unwrap the itty-bitty baby clothes, the soft stuffies, the tiny little shoes. It really gets you in baby mode! There's nothing quite like it, and you can truly start nesting once your house is flooded with all things baby.

A few just for mom and dad

At the end, we snagged a few photos of just the mom and dad to-be, and did a mini maternity session in all that gorgeous natural light. Quiet, soft, and just the two of them for a minute before everything changes.

So excited for them to be welcoming their sweet baby! Thank you both for having me back — it's been such a joy documenting your story.
